Emergency Medical Responder - Initial Class
40- 60-hour class
All applicants must have a current U.S. state-issued Driver’s License or photo ID.
Live Scan criminal background check by the State of California Department of Justice.
BLS (CPR) included in the class.
Books: To be purchased by the student prior to class start date. Book information will be emailed to all students.

Emergency Medical Responder Recertification and
Skills Verification
Proof of required Continuing Education (CE) from a California or CAPCE approved EMS CE provider.
Recertification without lapse: Minimum of 12 hours of CE or completion of a 12-hour EMR refresher course.
