Emergency Medical Technician Classes

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - California Skills Verification or NREMT

A completed EMT Skills Verification Form is good for two years.

The EMT that is being skills tested shall provide their drivers license and shall match the name as shown on their California EMT certification, the EMT certificate number and signature.

The California Skills Verification form can be found within a local EMSA Agency or the California State EMSA website.

Also, Narcan, Epi and Glucometer on line training needs to be completed prior to skills verification. The EMT skills sheets for testing can be found at NREMT web site. California uses the NREMT skills sheets for testing.

We can complete California Verification Skills and NREMT Skills verification. Please allow three hours for skills verification.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Recertification 24 hours and skill verification

Current U.S. state-issued Driver’s License or photo ID. Current or expired EMT certification card.
Proof of required Continuing Education (CE) from a California or CAPCE approved EMS CE provider (CE documentation form): EMT recertification – Minimum of 24 hours of CE or completion of a 24 hour EMT refresher course. Also, Narcan, Epi and Glucometer on line training need to be completed.
Lapsed 0-6 months- 24 CE’s
Lapsed 6-12 months- 36 CE’s
Lapsed 12+ months- 48 CE’s, NREMT card, plus a new Live Scan

A completed EMT Skills Verification Form signed by an approve provider.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Initial 180-hour class

The next class starts in June 2025. Classes will be Thursdays and Fridays. Taking reservations now.
